23-year-old force in online poker sets sights on a number of big tournaments as he gets ready for most successful year yet
Las Vegas, Nevada – March 8, 2010 – Attention world’s top pros: Consider yourselves warned. Brunson 10 Pro Alex Kamberis has announced his attention to play in a number of live poker tournaments leading up to the World Series of Poker with the objective of adding to his over $4 million in poker tournament earnings.
DoylesRoom.com’s Alex Kamberis will play in the following WPT and EPT events over the next few months:
- Apr 18-24, WPT World Championship: Bellagio, Las Vegas
- Apr 25-30, EPT Grand Final: Monte Carlo, Monaco
- May 8-13, WPT Grand Prix de Paris: Aviation Club, Paris
For Kamberis, the WPT and EPT poker tournaments are just warm-ups for the World Series of Poker. Kamberis intends to play in at least 10 WSOP events including five $10,000 buy-in tournaments:
- May 28 - Event #2: $50,000 Player's Championship
- June 8 - Event #17: $5,000 NL 6-max
- June 14 - Event #26: $2,500 NL 6-max
- June 17 - Event #32: $5,000 NL 6-max
- June 18 - Event #35: $10,000 Heads-Up Championship
- June 20 - Event #38: $10,000 PLH Championship
- June 23 - Event #43: $10,000 HORSE Championship
- June 30 - Event #52: $25,000 NL 6-max
- July 1 - Event #55: $10,000 PLO Championship
- July 5 - Main Event: $10,000 NL Championship
