Watch Out Fast Food Industry: The New Book - Crock Pot Soup Recipes - Reveals How to Eat Healthier and Cheaper Than Ever Before

NewsreleaseDate: 2010-03-12

Omaha, NE - You needn't look far for information on the harmful effects of eating fast food. The question Drew Laughlin asks is this: if eating out, especially at fast food restaurants, is so bad for us, why do we do it so much?

Looking into human nature provides all the answers. Drew, a self-proclaimed fast food eating expert, states it like this, "We all eat out because its easy. As humans we are conditioned to take the easy road. Especially when it comes to food. Most people, not all, but most of us dislike cooking. Its messy and it takes work. We'd rather just pick something up on the way home from work because it satisfies our need to avoid pain." However, eating out too much is killing this country. Its proven time and again that the food we eat at fast food restaurants is not healthy. Yes there are healthier alternatives but that's not what people choose when they are at their favorite restaurant. So what's the solution?

"There really is no single solution to this problem." Drew proclaimed. "We have to take baby steps. Changing too many things at once is the surest way to rushing back to our self-destructive ways. So my first baby step is developing a system of cooking that is easy to do and as hands off as much as possible." That's why Drew wrote his new book, "Crock-Pot Soup Recipes: 53 Delicious, Healthy and Super Easy Slow Cooker Soup and Stew Recipes".

His book not only outlines a ton of easy-to-cook and healthy recipes he also explains the ins and outs of a crock pot, commonly known as a slow cooker. It also contains a complete list of items to always have in your pantry so you can make a soup recipe any time. This is very useful for most families because they can prepare dinner quickly before they leave for work.

Drew emphasizes, "Crock pot dinners are some of the easiest meals you can make. You simply put in your ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning. And by the time you get home from work its ready to eat. Fun. Easy. Healthy. What more could you want?"

As proof, Drew asks all fast food addicts to consider this before deciding on using crock pot soup recipes for your next dinner, "What's easier and healthier than adding five ingredients, turning on your crock pot and then eating it when you get home? Nothing! So everyone needs to take their first baby step and start utilizing their slow cookers."
